General Comments:

This place has been the talk of the town recently so my expectations were quite high.
we went in last saturday and I could not belive how busy the place was although we had not booked. we were seated at our table, the first thing i noticed was how homely the whole place was.but mostly I couldnyt belive how comfortable the seats were, if this restaurant was looking to get people out quickly I dont think they will be able to with these seats.
the menu wasnt as big as other indian restaurants it was quite small, we choose king prawn sumundrie sukti with a really nice spicy sauce, chicken puri to start and lamb patina which was extremmly tender and tandoori king prawns for our mains. i got to say each dish had its own distictive taste it wasnt the sickly orangly coluring you normally get. we had an absalutley fantastic night the food was fantastic the service was great i have to say we will be back very soon. if you havent been you have to go

Aishahs represents the very essence of Indian cuisine, real value for money, a definite lack of pretension and excellent value for money. It is, quite simply, one of the finest unpretentious Indian restaurants I have encountered, with superb food, and service of the highest standards known where a Michelin star is simply not an aim, value for money and reliable service is preferred.

This was my first time ordering from Aishah’s and I must admit I had very high hopes. I was attracted by the BOGOF offer through this site so ordered Garlic Chilli Chicken and Lamb Bhoona as these are flagship dishes for most Indian Restaurants.

The order came to £20.25 including a tandoori starter (£4.95), rice and a naan bread. This included the delivery charge.

The order arrived very quickly and I was charged £21.75 by the driver. I queried this at the time but he shrugged and claimed he was new. The BOGOF offer still didn’t seem to have been applied.

The started consisted of 1 piece of lamb tikka, one piece of chicken tikka, one chicken chaat and a Seekh kebab which tasted like donor kebab meat.

The main curries were fine. The lamb in the Bhoona wasn’t as tender as it could be but both dishes were edible.

I called the restaurant after to query the delivery charge and over-charging due to no discount being applied and the Manager Sami shrugged his shoulders and told me to contact Just-eat.

I wouldn’t rush back here. There are other local take-aways who serve the same standard of food at more competative prices.

Response from restaurant: We are sorry to hear that this customer was not happy with the pricing applied to their order, but would like to state that it is the customers responsibility to ensure that the offer has been selected correctly before proceeding with the order. Should the discount not have been applied correctly customers are to contact Just-Eat.co.uk who are the administrators of the online menu, are responsible for the correctness of it and would be happy to assist. Just Eat have been contacted with regards to this and can confirm that the offer is working correctly and deducting the correct amount given the fact that instructions are followed correctly.
